Constraints

Lately, I have been feeling constrained. So I have widened my perspective to encompass more of the world. If the new proportions cause discomfort, let me know.

Dig it.

I especially like the coffee mug atop the fence post.

Love the pans. They give a much greater detailed view of the world, more like we see it with our eyes. I manually combine my pans in Photoshop, arranging them to lap, trimming along the edges as necessary and then leveling to bring the colors close to each other before compositing them to one image.

I find that in the camera it helps to swing around a full circle before actually taking pictures, checking out the lighting using the internal meter. Then Usually I set my camera to manual at what ever is going to give me the best results. Of course, shooting into the sun and away from it gives very different results so I pick my time of day carefully.

Keep up with the pans and posts!

Cheers,

-Walter

You are more skilled with your camera than I. A spin every once and a while and do the best I can with what I get is what I do. I am trying to be more consistant with where I take the pictures from so they are easier to compare.

I am sure the changes will be fast and furious as we come into fall. I am looking forward to some with snow.
